  Sweetened Condensed Milk Recipe

This rich and creamy homemade condensed milk is perfect for baking, desserts, and coffee sweetening. Made with just two ingredients, it's a budget-friendly alternative to store-bought versions.


Ingredients:


2 cups whole milk


¾ cup granulated sugar


1 tbsp butter (optional, for extra richness)



Instructions:


1. Heat the milk & sugar in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.



2. Simmer: Reduce the heat and let it cook for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.



3. Final touch: Stir in butter for a silky texture.



4. Cool & store: Let it cool completely before transferring to an airtight jar. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.




- Tip: Add a pinch of vanilla extract for a richer taste!
