 Cheesy Stuffed Croissant Casserole



 This buttery, cheesy croissant casserole is a delicious baked dish filled with a savory stuffing of vegetables, cheese, and meat, making it perfect for brunch or dinner.


Ingredients:


6 large croissants, halved


1 ½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar & mozzarella mix)


1 cup cooked chicken or turkey, diced


½ cup sautéed bell peppers and onions


4 eggs


1 cup milk


1 tsp Dijon mustard


½ tsp salt


½ tsp black pepper


1 tsp dried oregano



Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.



2. Layer the croissants in the dish, stuffing them with cheese, meat, and vegetables.



3. Prepare the custard: In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, mustard, salt, pepper, and oregano.



4. Assemble & bake: Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants. Let sit for 10 minutes to absorb. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and set.



5. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs.




- Tip: Add crumbled feta or goat cheese for extra flavor!
