Perfect Boiled Eggs Recipe

Prepare the Eggs:
Place the eggs in a single layer in a medium-sized saucepan. Add enough water to cover the eggs by about 1 inch. -
Boil the Water:
Set the saucepan on high heat and bring the water to a rolling boil. -
Set the Timer:
Once boiling, turn off the heat (for electric stoves, remove the pan from the burner) and cover the pan with a lid.- Soft-boiled: 4-6 minutes
- Medium-boiled: 7-9 minutes
- Hard-boiled: 10-12 minutes

Cool the Eggs:
Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them sit for 5-10 minutes. -
Peel and Serve:
Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel under running water. Serve as desired.
Tips for Success
- Use older eggs for easier peeling.
- Add a teaspoon of vinegar or salt to the boiling water to prevent cracking.
- Store unpeeled boiled eggs in the fridge for up to 7 days.
