Decadent Chocolate Truffles
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa), finely chopped
- 100ml heavy cream
- 25g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (or liqueur of choice)
- Cocoa powder, melted chocolate, or chopped nuts for coating
Instructions:

Prepare the Ganache
- Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer (do not boil).
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes to soften.
- Gently stir with a spatula until smooth and fully combined.

Add Flavor and Chill
- Stir in the butter and vanilla extract until the mixture is silky.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.

Shape the Truffles
- Using a teaspoon or small scoop, portion the ganache and roll into small balls with your hands.
- Place them on a parchment-lined tray and chill for 15 minutes.

Coat the Truffles
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, dip them in melted chocolate, or coat them with chopped nuts.
- Let them set at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer shelf life.
